I’m Nick Funnell, a qualified secondary school teacher specialising in Maths and Physics. I taught in UK Secondary Schools for 16 years.I now tutor full-time, working one-to-one with students online.
Classroom experience means I know the GCSE, A Level and IB courses inside out: how topics build on each other, where students typically get stuck, and what examiners are looking for. In one-to-one sessions I can go at exactly the right pace, revisit what isn’t secure yet, and stretch students who are ready for more.
I tutor online using a digital whiteboard, so students can see working build up step by step, just as they would in class, without anyone having to travel.
Whether your child needs to rebuild confidence, close gaps before mocks, or push for a top grade, I’d be happy to talk through how I can help.
